Land & Reclamation

The role of excavation, land preparation and ecological recovery in Fooy’s evolution.

Land is infrastructure.

Fooy’s early community concept emphasized restoration. The next design phase explicitly connected reclamation with excavation, grading, drainage, soil management, infrastructure corridors and productive reuse. Land recovery is not merely decorative landscaping: it determines whether a site can support homes, food growing, safe access and resilient services.

Proposed work requires surveys, environmental investigation, legal rights, buried-utility checks, professional engineering and permit review before earthwork begins. No specific excavation or reclamation site is represented here as an approved project.
